Mostafa Soly is an Egyptian filmmaker working internationally across a wide range of film, commercial, and narrative storytelling projects. He worked across a multitude of genres, platforms, and roles within the TV, Film, and Advertising Industries and is responsible for some of the most engaging and shared content in the Middle East.

Soly has a particular passion and knack for casting and performance, which, coming from a line of actors, comes naturally to him. He draws powerful performances from his characters and combines these with highly visual settings.

He is best known for his amusing, sophisticated visual language and his ability to drive a narrative forward through drama and comedy. His work often features elements of magical realism, beautiful imagery, and an adaptable production approach that flows with the needs of each project. 

Soly’s work has also received numerous awards including Best Short Film from Montreal Independent Film Festival, and has most recently been selected as a winner for a best short film from Toronto feature Film festival.
